Ryan Reynolds’ huge net worth and how he made multi-million dollar fortune
Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham have been promoted to League One, capping an incredible two seasons which has seen back-to-back promotions secured by the north Wales side.
The Racecourse outfit earned their place in the English third tier after beating Forest Green Rovers 6-0, with results elsewhere going their way too. It comes just shy of a year after they returned to the Football League following a 15-year absence.
Owners Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been front and centre of this compelling story ever since they purchased the club three years ago.

Reynolds is a world-renowned Hollywood actor, best known for his role as the wise-cracking, expletive-laden superhero ‘Deadpool’. It’s obvious that he’s making millions from his role in film, but that isn’t the only way the suave movie star prints his money.
What is Ryan Reynolds’ net worth?
Reynolds’ net worth is $350million (£280million) according to Celebrity Net Worth.
How does Reynolds make his money?
Despite his incredible success on the big screen, it’s some smart financial investments that have earned him the big bucks. Reynolds owned 25 per cent of communications company Mint Mobile and in March 2023 they were sold to T-Mobile for $1.35billion (£1.08billion). The deal is reported to have earned him $300million (£240million).
His successful drinks brand Aviation Gin was also sold for $600million (£481million), pocketing him a cool 10 per cent in the process.
Reynolds also bags huge pay packets for his film endeavours. For the first instalment of Deadpool, he secured a cool $22million (£17million). For Deadpool 2 it was an enhanced $30million (£24million) as the absolute lowest figure, according to Celebrity Net Worth. That could be even closer to $40million (£32million).
Reynolds has also dipped his toe into F1; in June 2023 his firm Maximum Effort (a production and marketing agency) investment joined with others to purchase a 24 per cent stake in French team Alpine, which is owned by the Renault Group.
He also has real estate on his CV; along with partner Blake Lively, with whom he has four children, Reynolds owns a $2.35million (£1.8million) New York home and another New York property worth $5.7million (£4.5million). There’s a third in Bedford, New York, valued at $6.1million (£4.9million).
The family also have a home in the Hollywood Hills, which was reportedly worth $2.8million (£2.2million).
Reynolds, along with McElhenney, has pumped in serious cash to Wrexham over the past three years. During an episode of their Welcome to Wrexham documentary aired last year, when they were told they had lost around $12million since taking over the club, Reynolds responded: “I’m going to throw up.”
