‘Metro Misfires’ ready to take their shot at Big Clays event
Metro Bank has officially announced the team that will represent them at the upcoming AFPA Trust Big Clays charity event. The team, named “Metro Misfires,” consists of four key members from across the bank: Nova Everidge, Director of Asset Finance; Claire Whiter, Head of Credit Analyst and Support; Simon Breuning, Head of Lending Operations; and Kevin Tonge, Regional Director.
The AFPA Trust Big Clays event, scheduled for 23rd October at 55 Moorgate, London, will see teams from the asset finance industry competing for a chance to win up to £6,000 for their chosen charities.
Nova Everidge, Director of Asset Finance and a member of the Metro Misfires, shared her enthusiasm for the event:
“The Metro Misfires are very much looking forward to taking part in the AFPA Trust Big Clays event. With the potential to win big for our chosen charity, Beyond, we will be sure to sharpen our aim in an attempt to take 1st place!”
Beyond, the charity selected by the Metro Misfires, focuses on tackling the UK’s growing youth mental health crisis. The charity works to improve access to support for young people and provides resources for those who work with them, ensuring they receive personalised mental health care.
The AFPA Trust Big Clays event is shaping up to be a major highlight within the asset finance industry, combining friendly competition, teambuilding, and networking with the goal of making a real difference for charity. The top prize of £5,000 for the winning team’s chosen charity will be increased to £6,000 if the charity is one of AFPA Trust’s official Charity Partners. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third-place teams.
With the event open to teams of four, participants will enjoy an evening of competition, entertainment, and the chance to connect with peers from across the industry. Colleagues, clients, and other asset finance professionals are encouraged to join in, with individual and pair sign-ups welcome.
