Brown Announces New Investment In Grimes Municipal Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced a new investment in the Grimes Municipal Airport to enable a study looking into the feasibility of replacing an existing aircraft hangar. The Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration awarded the $74,250 investment to the City of Urbana through the Airport Improvement Program.

“Ohio airports like Grimes Municipal Airport are vital infrastructure supporting travel and commerce in our state and it’s critical we invest in them and ensure that they can continue to serve Ohio communities,” Brown said.
