22-year-old woman found dead inside a property in Yucalpetén, Mérida

On Friday, April 19th, in the Yucalpetén subdivision, a woman only 22 years old was found dead, authorities are investigating if it was a suicide.

The events occurred on a property on the corner of 67th and 116-A Streets, near the Poniente Ecological Park, when a man arrived at home and when looking for the young woman, he found her dead in the bathroom.

The young woman was the sentimental partner of the individual, somewhat older than her, who was the one that allegedly found her.

The house belongs to the mother of the deceased, so she also arrived at the property and together they called the paramedics, who upon arriving at the scene only confirmed that the young woman had died.

The site was cordoned off, and the State Investigation Police and the Forensic Medical Service arrived on site to carry out the legal proceedings.
