Avison Young Appoints Regional Property Management Head
Avison Young has appointed Emma Taylor as regional head of property management for the Midlands and South West, joining from rivals Knight Frank after three years as partner.
Taylor has 20 years’ experience overall in the commercial property sector, managing assets including large multilet offices, industrial estates, retail parks and shopping centres, and privately owned estates.
She will work out of Avison Young’s 3 Brindleyplace offices in Birmingham and will lead on the Paradise and One Centenary Way instructions for Federated Hermes and MEPC, as well as overseeing the property management team across the Midlands and the South West regions.
“Her focus will be on delivering an exemplar service for clients across office, industrial, leisure, retail and mixed-use developments,” the global real estate brokerage said in a statement.
Before her three years at Knight Frank, Taylor spent more than 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield, a firm she joined as a graduate surveyor, and served as a senior associate at Workman.
Avison Young says her appointment as a director and regional head for the Midlands and South West highlights its “commitment to growing its regional presence across the UK”.
“Emma will be a critical member of the team in enabling that growth,” added David Martin, regional managing director for Birmingham at Avison Young UK, in a statement.
