Dramatic late bid secures large property in Tullamore for what looks like bargain price

A dramatic late bid at an online auction on Thursday secured a large property in Tullamore for what potentially looks like a bargain price. 

1 & 2 Fitzpatrick Flats, O`Moore St, Tullamore was up for sale on an online auction platform with an Advised Minimum Value of €125,000. 

It is described as a generous 5 bedroom mid terrace property with potential to convert the property into multi units with two separate entrances to the property accessible from the front.

The description continues and states that while in need of renovations and modernisation throughout, the property affords the new purchaser an opportunity to make an attractive return on investment. 

Bidding was open for a considerable time today (Thursday) but the property generated no bids despite 12 people being listed as watching the auction. 

However with just over a minute remaining until the auction closed, one bid was received for €125,000 and ultimately this maiden bid secured the property for what looks like it could be a bargain price.
