Make way for Howard Ward associates at Hot Property 2024

First-year sponsors Howard Ward Associates are ready and raring to go for this year’s Nottingham Hot Property as the event looks to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Catching up with managing director, Dan Bailey, he explains what he’s looking forward to most.

How many years have you supported/attended Hot Property?

This year is our first as sponsors at Howard Ward Associates, but I attended a few Hot Properties in the early years, as a BWB Consulting employee, and have taken part since 2019. As a business, we have supported the event for several years, as one of our founding directors, Giles Ward, used to play the keyboard.

Why is Hot Property so important to you? Why did you want to sponsor the event?

It ticks so many boxes! I think it’s probably the best construction-related event in the area. It’s well attended, great fun, allows me to pretend to be a rock star and always supports a worthwhile local cause.

At HWA we wholeheartedly believe that NHP is the perfect event to support. It’s a truly remarkable occasion to see friends and acquaintances from the construction and property sectors come together to showcase their talents.

What’s your favourite Hot Property memory or performance from over the years and why?

One of the most memorable ones has to be ‘Danger High Voltage’ which Ash Cowdrey from Chord Consult and Liz Cartwright from Cartwright Communications performed.

Hot Property has been going now since 2004. What were you doing 20 years ago and can you share a picture from that time of your life?

I was just married and had a full head of hair, I’m sure the loss of hair and marriage are not related! I was working at BWB Consulting then so I’m not quite sure how I missed out on getting roped in earlier.

What are you looking forward to most about Hot Property this year?

Seeing some of our staff on stage performing will be amazing. And to be honest, as a sponsor getting our own VIP area!

The event being hosted at Binks Yard is also very exciting.
