A man has been arrested after two people were stabbed at a house in Wollaton.
Police were called to Harrow Road, Wollaton, Nottingham, around 8.20 pm on Thursday (14 March) following reports two people had been assaulted in a home.
A man and a woman suffered stab wounds and have been taken to hospital with injuries which are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he was located a short time later.
Chief Inspector Ash Thornton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Officers have worked quickly and efficiently to locate a suspect.
“We believe this was an isolated incident within a home with no wider risk to the public. Residents can expect a police presence in the area while investigations take place and if anyone has any concerns I’d urge them to speak to an officer.”
