Bayer CropScience Ltd, the Indian arm of Germany’s Bayer AG, reported a 39.43% drop in net profit to Rs 96 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal year, impacted by reduced income. This compares to a net profit of Rs 158.5 crore in the same quarter last year, according to a company statement. The company’s total income for the fourth quarter fell by about 18%, dropping to Rs 821.1 crore from Rs 1,003.2 crore in the corresponding period the previous year.
