Stock Market LIVE on Friday, June 14, 2024: Benchmark Nifty50 hit a fresh high on Friday morning at 23,464 levels, up 0.11 per cent. However, post open the benchmarks slid quickly, Nifty50 index dipping 0.21 per cent at 23,350, while the BSE Sensex fell 208 points at 76,606 levels. 

Titan, Asian Paints, Ultratech Cement, HUL, HDFC Bank were trading with slight gains on Sensex, whereas Infosys, L&T, TCS, Bajaj Finserv, Wipro, NTPC, HCL Tech, and JSW Steel remained the top losers.

On Nifty 50 Grasim Industries, HUL and Shriram Finance were among the top five leaders while Tech Mahindra among others led the losses. 

Broader indices retained optimism on Friday morning, with the MidCap index rising 0.26 and the SmallCap index above 0.23 per cent.

Among indices, Nifty IT dropped by 0.77 per cent, Nifty Media by 0.21 per cent and Nifty Private Bank by 0.18 per cent. On the other hand, Nifty Realty and Nifty Consumer Durables led the sectoral gains.
