GE Power India Ltd.(up 9.06%), KEC International Ltd.(up 5.77%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 5.00%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 4.95%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(up 4.60%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 4.12%) and RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 4.10%) stood among the top gainers.

Neueon Towers Ltd.(down 4.88%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 2.44%), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.19%), Torrent Power Ltd.(down 1.64%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 1.44%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 1.35%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 0.85%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 0.48%) and Tata Power Company Ltd.(down 0.04%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 189.41 points up at 22336.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 560.29 points at 73648.62.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.02%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.89%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.83%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.69%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.43%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.42%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.34%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.15%), State Bank of India(up 2.09%) and Wipro Ltd.(up 2.05%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 2.19%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.25%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.16%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.31%), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.16%) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.1%) closed in the red.
