Crypto crash: why are Bitcoin Cash, LUNC, Pi Network, WLFI going down?

On May 18, a significant crypto crash occurred, led by Bitcoin’s drop to $76,500, its lowest in three weeks. Bitcoin Cash fell 7.30%, while LUNC, Pi Network, and WLFI dropped over 5%. Market capitalization decreased by 1.36% to $2.56 trillion, with liquidations surging 42% to $661 million. Rising global bond yields and ETF outflows for Bitcoin and Ethereum contributed to the downturn, as traders reacted to economic pressures and profit-taking.
