The Sheffield Property Association (S-PA) has appointed Claire Mayfield-Tulip as a director, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to support growth across the region’s property sector.

Claire brings more than 25 years of legal and operational experience, along with extensive links across Sheffield and South Yorkshire’s development, investment and business communities.

She is director and head of operations for real estate at Sheffield law firm BRM and also serves as a non-executive director at Sheffield Technology Parks.

Throughout her career, she has advised SME developers on residential and commercial property projects across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Claire said: “I wanted to join the S-PA board because I am passionate about supporting the advancement of Sheffield City Region and helping it become the very best version of itself.

“I believe collaboration across the public and private sectors is essential if we are to deliver meaningful change, support sustainable development and create greater economic growth and prosperity across the city and wider region.

“My ambition is to help raise Sheffield and South Yorkshire’s profile nationally while supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives that will benefit both current residents and future generations.”

Claire’s appointment comes as the Sheffield Property Association continues to bring together professionals from across the property, development, construction and investment sectors to promote regeneration and economic growth throughout the Sheffield City Region.

Her experience and long-standing connection to the region will support the association’s strategic work as opportunities emerge across housing, commercial development, infrastructure and regeneration.

Tim Bottrill, director at the Sheffield Property Association, added: “Claire brings a wealth of experience, deep regional knowledge and a genuine passion for Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

“Her understanding of the development landscape, coupled with her commitment to collaboration and economic growth, will be a significant asset to the board and our members.

“We are delighted to welcome her as a director and look forward to working together to support the continued success of the region.”
