Different directional changes have been observed in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, APA-Economics reports.

The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the market leader on the CoinMarketCap platform, increased by 0.65% to $80,861.

The price of Ethereum (ETH) decreased by 0.44% to $2,379, the price of BNB decreased by 1.07% to $626, while the price of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) decreased by 1.18% to $443.

At the same time, gold-indexed Tether Gold (XAUT) fell by 1.50% to $4,529, and PAX Gold (PAXG) declined by 1.53% to $4,528.

On the other hand, Zcash (ZEC) increased by 2.10% to $427, while Monero (XMR) rose by 1.75% to $404.

Overall, the total capitalization of the global cryptocurrency market increased by 0.31% over the day, reaching $2.67 trillion.

According to analysts, the mixed dynamics are mainly related to a selective increase in interest in risky assets against the background of changing expectations regarding interest rates in the United States, as well as profit-taking in some altcoins following the gains recorded in recent days.
