Dutch Blockchain Week 2026 Brings Together Litecoin, Kraken, Bitwise and Visa for June Summit

Share

Amsterdam has hosted its share of blockchain conferences over the years. Dutch Blockchain Week 2026 is aiming for something different. Less noise, fewer empty buzzwords, and a much clearer focus on the companies and institutions actively shaping Europe’s digital asset market.

That direction becomes obvious when looking at the first confirmed speakers. Charlie Lee, founder of Litecoin and current Director of the Litecoin Foundation, will take part in an exclusive 1-on-1 session during the summit. Alongside him, names such as Brian Gahan (Kraken), Stephanie Laurent (Bitwise), Amor Sexton (Blockdaemon), Maike Hornung (Visa), Marieke Flament (advisor to Qivalis) and Raoul Schipper (Chainlink) underline the type of audience and conversations Dutch Blockchain Week is attracting this year.

The event takes place from June 22–28, 2026, with the Dutch Blockchain Week Summit hosted on June 24 & 25 inside Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA. Around the summit, more than 40 side events will take place across the city, organized by both Dutch and international partners. From private investor dinners and institutional brunches to networking events, roundtables and community gatherings, the idea is simple: business doesn’t stop when the
stage program ends.

The partner lineup reflects the same institutional direction. Bitvavo returns as Main Partner, while bunq joins as Diamond Partner for the first time. Visa, Kraken, OKX, Bybit EU and zerohash europe are confirmed as Platinum Partners, with Mastercard, Deloitte, Talos, Fireblocks, Worldpay and Coinmerce supporting as Gold Partners. The names involved say a lot about where the industry currently stands: regulated infrastructure, payments, compliance and institutional adoption are no longer side conversations, they are the market!

Amsterdam itself plays an important role in that positioning. As MiCA regulation starts reshaping Europe’s crypto landscape, the Netherlands has become an increasingly relevant destination for companies looking to establish themselves within the European market. That shift is also visible in the expected audience at Dutch Blockchain Week, where exchanges, banks, funds, payment providers, regulators, infrastructure companies and legal firms will all be represented.

The event organizers are also doubling down on networking this year. A dedicated networking app will open two weeks before the summit, allowing attendees to connect and schedule meetings in advance. During the summit itself, a dedicated deal floor and executive meeting spaces are designed to support more focused conversations between companies and decision-makers.

And while the summit remains the centerpiece, the broader week continues to grow into a city-wide ecosystem experience. Side events currently range from boat tours and padel tournaments to private policy discussions and technical workshops. One of the more notable additions this year is a session hosted by the Dutch Police focused on crime and investigations within the crypto sector. A reflection of how mature and multifaceted the industry discussions have become.

Dutch Blockchain Week 2026 is not trying to be another hype-driven crypto event. The focus is increasingly clear: bring the right people together, facilitate meaningful conversations and create an environment where real business gets done.
