Ahmad Odeh Joins SHUAA Capital as Group Finance Director

United Arab Emirates, July 2026SHUAA Capital has appointed Ahmad Odeh as its Group Finance Director, marking a significant milestone in his finance leadership career as he transitions into the financial services and asset management sector. Bringing extensive experience across audit, listed companies, and corporate finance leadership, Ahmad will oversee the group’s finance function and support SHUAA Capital’s strategic growth and financial objectives.

Ahmad joins SHUAA Capital after serving as Chief Financial Officer at Oldtimer Middle East, where he led the organization’s finance strategy and operations. Prior to that, he spent more than eight years at Union Properties PJSC, progressing through several senior finance leadership positions. He served as Group Finance Director, following roles as Financial Controller – Business Partner and Accounting Manager, gaining extensive experience in financial reporting, management control, statutory compliance, business partnering, and corporate finance within a publicly listed organization.

Earlier in his career, Ahmad spent over four years with Deloitte as an Auditor – Audit & Assurance, where he performed audits across multiple industries, reviewed internal controls, prepared financial statements and audit reports in accordance with IFRS and ISA standards, assessed financial reporting frameworks, and mentored audit professionals. His early professional experience also includes serving as Bills of Collections Officer in the Trade Services Department at Capital Bank of Jordan, where he gained foundational experience in banking and financial operations.

With a career spanning audit, corporate finance, financial control, and executive finance leadership, Ahmad brings broad expertise in financial governance, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and business transformation. His appointment reinforces SHUAA Capital’s commitment to strengthening its finance leadership as it continues to expand its position in asset management and investment banking.
