Clifford Chance advises on US$200 million senior secured notes offering to finance construction of Cumberland gas plant

Global law firm Clifford Chance advised the purchasers on US$200 million offering of senior secured notes due 2056 issued by Cumberland Generation Holdco LLC, which will be used to partially fund a payment to the Tennessee Valley Authority for the construction and operation of a gas-fired power facility located in Stewart County, Tennessee.

The team was led by partners Shellka Arora-Cox (New York) and Om Pandya (Houston), supported by a broader team of capital markets associates Jake DuCharme (New York) and Johnathan Walker (Houston), with partner Todd Lowther (Houston) and associate Milica Pavlovic advising on tax matters (New York).
