The national average for a 30-year fixed mortgage rose 14 basis points from the previous day to reach 6.41%. Similarly, the 15-year fixed rate increased by eight basis points to 5.80%, while the 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM) also climbed 14 basis points to 6.63%.
