Scottish commercial property consultancy targets expansion after 7% profit rise

Share

A SCOTTISH commercial property firm has reported a 7% increase in annual profits following the first year of a major strategic partnership.

Edinburgh-headquartered Ryden exceeded its internal profit targets by 23% during the first 12 months of its operational tie-up with Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

The consultancy, which employs more than 130 staff across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen, is now targeting further growth through targeted recruitment, acquisitions, and the expansion of its specialist services.

Following the initial integration period, Ryden has re-entered the loan security market and continues to advise clients across sectors including renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and data centres.

Alan Gilkison, Managing Partner at Ryden, said: “Our ambition was never to become a different business. Our relationship with LSH strengthened Ryden’s position without changing who we are or the culture our people have built over many years.

“The first year has been about building the foundations for long-term growth. We’ve spent time bringing the businesses together, understanding each other’s strengths, connecting clients and creating opportunities that simply weren’t available to us before.

“Today we’re working on national instructions, benefiting from stronger relationships across the wider LSH network and investing in new service lines that will support the next stage of our development.

“We’ve built strong foundations during the past year and now we’re moving into a period focused on growth.”
