RSM strengthens leadership with 20 new partners, directors

RSM has expanded its business and cross-border capabilities through 20 new partner and director appointments.

Professional services firm RSM Australia has announced 20 senior leadership appointments, including six partners and 14 directors, as the firm continues to invest in the growth and career development of its people.

Effective 1 July 2026, the appointments included 13 internal promotions and seven lateral hires.

RSM Australia chief executive partner, Robert Miano, said the appointments demonstrated the high calibre of internal talent across the firm and its dedication to strengthening its divisions.

“We are so proud to see our team members progress into these senior leadership roles, and it’s a true testament to RSM’s career pathway programs, which identify and nurture emerging leaders,” Miano said.

“Alongside our internal promotions, we are pleased to welcome highly experienced professionals whose expertise will deliver exceptional client solutions in key growth areas of our business.”

Internally, RSM has elevated nine team members to director roles across multiple practices, including business advisory, corporate tax, corporate finance, restructuring and recovery, digital advisory, and audit and assurance.

RSM announced four new partners via internal promotions:

Adam Cormack – restructuring and recovery, Canberra

Shelby Earl – audit and assurance, Ballarat

Rhys Edwards – business advisory, Perth

Marie Van Blommestein – business advisory, Katanning

RSM announced nine new directors via internal promotions:

Daniel Bisiach – business advisory, Melbourne

Fiona Brazier – corporate tax, Brisbane

Nathan Burgess – restructuring and recovery, Brisbane

Josh Colagiuri – business advisory, Sydney

Patrick Gordon – business advisory, Goulburn

Ryan Hammersley – corporate tax, Perth

Laurel Millar – digital advisory, Sydney

Emma Tyler – corporate finance, Melbourne

Edward Yang – audit and assurance, Sydney

RSM also appointed two new lateral partners: Amir Lefkovic (corporate finance, Melbourne) and Pushpinder Singh (risk advisory, Sydney).

Prior to these promotions, the firm welcomed five lateral director hires across a range of sectors and locations, further enhancing RSM’s national support for clients:

Waqar Ali – corporate finance, Sydney

Charlene Butler – business advisory, Canberra

Shaun Osborne – corporate finance, Perth

Rob Pita – audit and assurance, Brisbane

Shikha Thomas – corporate finance, Melbourne
