Professional services firm marking two decades in business

Share

Old Mill, with an office in Chippenham, has grown into a multidisciplinary firm employing more than 300 people since its founding in 2006.

Mark Neath, chief executive of Old Mill, said: “Old Mill looks very different from the business we started 20 years ago, but the driving principle behind it remained the same building long-term relationships and understanding the people behind each business has always been our focus.

“As we enter our third decade, we’re excited about continuing to support our clients, our people and the communities we serve.”

The company offers a wide range of services including accountancy, tax advice, financial planning, corporate finance and business advisory.

While it has strong roots in the rural sector, the firm has expanded into other industries such as food and drink and property and construction.

This growth has come in response to the evolving needs of its clients.

The 20th anniversary comes less than a year after Old Mill and its outsourced finance division, Brook Financial, joined the Kinbrook Group in November 2025.

Old Mill now forms part of Kinbrook’s UK network, which includes 24 offices and connects established regional professional services firms under one umbrella.

The company continues to serve businesses, entrepreneurs, landed estates and private individuals across the South West.

Its steady expansion and evolution reflect changes within the wider professional services landscape, as well as the ongoing importance of building trusted client relationships.

By adapting to industry trends and client demands, Old Mill has positioned itself as a key player in the sector.

The firm remains committed to supporting clients in a changing business environment as it looks ahead to future growth.
