Virgin Media O2 loses 6,900 consumer fixed-line connections in Q1

Virgin Media O2 lost 6,900 consumer fixed-line customers in Q1 2026 to end March with 5.5 million consumer fixed customers. This is an improvement of 38,000 on losses of 44,700 in Q1 2025. Consumer broadband net losses were 5,300 in Q1, compared to a loss of 42,800 a year-earlier. Monthly ARPU per consumer fixed-line customer relationship was GBP 46.50 in Q1 2026, compared to GBP 47.26 in Q1 2025.
