A specialized financial court in Shanghai has issued new judicial guidelines aimed at bringing the city’s legal framework closer to international practice and strengthening its position as a global financial center.
The 18-point guidance, released on Thursday, sets out rules for disputes involving offshore finance, global asset management and cross-border infrastructure connectivity. The Shanghai Financial Court also published a series of representative cases to signal its approach, including one that voided an unauthorized cross-border securities investment agreement.
