The White Pine County School District will be conducting a surplus sale of personal property pursuant to NRS 332.185 to dispose of personal property that is no longer for public use. The sales will consist of desks, furniture, and other personal property items. The surplus property will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis at 1800 Bobcat Dr, Ely, NV 89301, in the vocational yard, on Friday, May 15, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, May 16 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
There will also be a vehicle surplus sale going on at the same time; see the following public notice.
SEALED BID SURPLUS VEHICLE SALE
The White Pine County School District is accepting sealed bids for surplus vehicles and buses. All items are sold “as-is.”
Vehicle List & Locations: Available at https://whitepinedistrict.schoolinsites.com/transportation or the District Office.
Bid Start date: May 8, 2026
Bid Deadline: 5:00 PM, May 16, 2026.
Bid Opening/Notification: 3:00 PM, May 18, 2026
All awarded bids will have 2 weeks from the date notified to pick up vehicles.
Submission: Envelopes must contain the vehicle bid form and be sealed and marked “Surplus Vehicle Bid.” Deliver to 1135 Ave C, Ely, NV 89301 or to an official at the vehicle surplus sites.
