An agricultural expert based at the Market Harborough office of a leading property consultancy has been promoted after another successful year for the firm.

Fisher German has promoted Vicky Povey to Agribusiness Consultant after great success in helping landowners manage relationships with contract farmers and farm managers.

Vicky, part of Fisher German’s agribusiness team, joined Fisher German’s Market Harborough office in 2024 and regularly visits farms in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire to review their operations, help manage their environmental schemes and assess ongoing works.

She also works with smaller clients on grant applications, farm profitability reviews and farm diversification opportunities.

Vicky said: “I’m thrilled to be promoted. In my two years at Fisher German, I have taken on a significant amount of responsibility and I’m hopeful of becoming an Advisor within the Society of Agriculture by the end of the year.

“I’d like to continue my personal development by focusing more on farm profitability reviews and helping new graduates learn the ropes in the agribusiness team.

“Fisher German place a lot of trust in younger colleagues which is great to see. There is huge scope for growth and to pave your own path, and if you’re trustworthy, willing to work hard, and not afraid to ask when you need help, Fisher German is a great place for young professionals to grow.”

Vicky’s promotion is part of 77 that Fisher German has made across all areas of the company after a busy start to 2026.

The year has seen the firm win a major contract to deliver a range of consultancy services for Great British Energy – Nuclear as it builds the UK’s first small modular nuclear reactor at Wylfa in north Wales. Fisher German has also continued high-quality instructions in its agency, advisory, infrastructure and property management divisions.

Richard Benson, Senior Partner at Fisher German, added: “These promotions give us the opportunity to highlight the achievements of Fisher German’s hard-working colleagues who have delivered for clients, their teams and colleagues.

“The 77 promotions are a testament to the dedication and high standard of delivery across all our divisions.

“I would like to congratulate every colleague who has been promoted which helps to ensure we continue to build a strong future for Fisher German.”
