Dollar General announces plans to rebuild in Marietta

MARIETTA, Okla. (KXII) – Dollar General announced Friday that it plans to rebuild in Marietta after its store took a direct hit from an EF-4 tornado last April.

The Dollar General store was near Homeland before the tornado destroyed both stores.

The new location is expected to be south of the library, and that decision will be made by late fall.

Oklahoma State Representative Josh Cantrell said that Homeland is committed to coming back.
